Chasing Plastic, A Toy Podcast

We talk spring 2025 toy shows as well as what our experiences were at the February 2025 K-Town Toy and Collectible Show. Lots to cover but covered it all in record speed. We hope you enjoy the calm after the storm.

We have a sit down with Oliver Lopez, a local collector who is always upgrading his collection and has been a steady collector since he was young. We also realize the local Ollies in Racine Wisconsin opened a week early without telling anyone and Jarame had an awesome pick-up!

We discuss what lines we don't collect and the reasons behind it, as well as another Star Wars distraction. So for the most part another interesting, fun and comical look at "what you probably shouldn't collect" ;)

We take a serious look at how "reproductions" and "knock-offs" affect collecting and the hobby in general. Then we take a hard right into talking about how there are more and more toy shows popping up, pretty much everywhere.

Us 4 guys discuss what our (2) most wanted toys or toy lines that we want remade or updated and made again. A really great discussion with some awesome ideas. This was a great topic and we hope you think so too! Enjoy!

The guys talk tips for where we look for new goodies, how to find the most accurate pricing for your finds and some does and don'ts, while giving each other hell and just being a bunch of dorks. Enjoy

Karl, Patrick and Jeff discuss what they are looking forward to in their collecting in 2025. Update their collections? Sell off parts etc. What will they choose?
Unfortunately no Jarame this episode due to a stomach bug. Feel better man!. Thanks for listening and enjoy.

Each of the guys talks about a special memory from a Christmas past. Some joyful and some you may want to help throw a punch. We have had a blast this past year and really appreciate the support and feedback. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!!!!

We talk about our favorite moments, finds, and memories from 2024. There's a lot to go through to choose that 1 memory but the guys get it done. Enjoy and let us know what your moments are from this past year. Enjoy!

The guys sit down with a local staple Don Swanson and talk collecting and how and what he collects and where. Also we take a side quest to talk about a little about the shows Skeleton Crew and the Acolyte. And we apologize again for being man children. Hope you enjoy!
